Work is being sought for a juried exhibit showcasing contemporary artwork that reflects income inequity in the modern world (decline of the middle class etc.). The theme may be interpreted in any style that relates to the title (i.e. factually, hypothetically, symbolically, satirically, politically, etc.) An artist statement with explanation of thematic relationship should accompany the submission.
• Open to: All artists 18 years and older. Work must have been completed in the last two years.
• Media: all media, no size limit
• Exhibit Dates: October 31 – December 7, 2012
• To Enter: Submit digital images (3 pieces maximum) on a CD or via email.
Digital images should be saved at the highest quality jpeg. All submissions must be accompanied by a list with title, media and size, artist’s contact info and artist statement explaining the thematic relationship. No entry fee is required.
• Deadline for entry: Postmarked by August 30, 2012
• Notification: by September 21, 2012
