Artist Writings

Unfortunately, artists cannot make it into great jobs or big shows without doing a little writing.  For your assistance, I have posted examples and formats to follow for cum vitae’s, cover letters, syllabi, proposals, artist statements, teaching philosophies, and letters of recommendation.  Use this information as a guide.  Ask friends to read over your work.  And take your time.  Small grammatical errors and awkward phrasing occurs when we rush through assignments.

I know this is information every artist needs.  I am more than happy to share, however I would like to place this reminder that all information on this site has a copyright and thus using anything from team-art as your own is punishable by law.
