The City of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana partnership for better living through art invites sculptors and sculpture collaborations to submit works/proposals toSculptEVV —an outdoor sculpture show, running June 9, 2012 through April 21, 2013.

• $20,000 purchase award

• $10,000 best in show

• $5,000 2nd place

• $1,000 3rd place

• $500 installation stipends for each artwork accepted and installed

Sculpt EVV will congratulate the award winners in a full page ad in Sculpture Magazine.

Juror: MariluKnode, Executive Director, Laumeier Sculpture Park

The juror selects the show, the best in show, second and third place awards. SculptEVV Purchase Award Committee selects the purchase award.
Allied events, including the Arts Council of Southwest Indiana’s juried arts fair, and Arts Council and University of Southern Indiana juried ceramic sculpture show (http://www.artswin.evansville.net/) will open Saturday, June 9, 2012, at the same time and site as SculptEVV.

 

Calendar

• Submissions accepted: December 1, 2011—March 1, 2012

• Applicants notified by email of acceptance or non-acceptance: April 2—6, 2012

• Artists with work in the show receive installation schedule: April 16—22, 2012

• Installation of artworks: May 4—June 8, 2012

• Exhibition dates: June 9, 2012—April 21, 2013

• Opening: Sat. June 9, 2012, 7:00 p.m. —2:00 a.m.

• Awards announced: Sat. June 9, 2012, 8:00 p.m.

• De-installation of artworks: April 22—May 18, 2013
