DISJECTA
Disjecta Interdisciplinary Art Center is a nonprofit organization formed to provide essential resources for artists to create and exhibit new work. Disjecta provides an interdisciplinary exhibition space for the presentation of vital, emerging visual and performing arts on a local, regional, national and international level.

Disjecta’s 6,000 square foot exhibition space will provide the key venue for Portland2012, but the exhibition will be expanded to partnering spaces for satellite exhibitions. In keeping with the growing hybridization of contemporary practice, the exhibition may include visual arts, new media, as well as performance-based works. Selected artists will each be given a small stipend, which may be used to create new work for the exhibition. The exhibition will be supported by a catalog.

All Oregon artists are invited to submit examples of their recent work. The curator will review applications and conduct studio visits before announcing selected artists in early fall.

Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. The deadline for submissions is 11:59PM, MDT (Mountain Daylight Time), August 12, 2011. All materials must be submitted through CaFE™ (www.callforentry.org)
