PAPERCHASE 2011 – AN EXHIBIT OF CREATIVE PAPER-BASED ARTS

PAPERCHASE 2011 is a juried art exhibition open to all artists working in paper based media. The use of paper is fundamental in many of today’s artistic expressions. The goal of PAPERCHASE 2011 is to showcase the wide variety of paper based artworks by contemporary artists. Awards totaling $1200 will be decided by this year’s juror, noted educator and painter Jim Faulkner. All entries must be original, paper-based artwork. This may include, but are not limited to: paint on paper, etching, drawings, photography, collage, mixed multiple media including non-paper content, handmade paper, handmade paper art books, paper-based sculpture/mobiles, paper-based jewelry, and other original formats.
